In 2003, Jenny Pattrick's first novel The Denniston Rose stormed onto the best selling list, followed quickly by its sequel Heart of Coal.Both historical novels are set in a remote coal mining town on the West Coast, a lawless place that makes or breaks those who live there. In search of a new life, young Rose and her mother arrive in town one night, only to be met with speculation and danger.
In addition to two best selling novels, a number of short stories and two dramatised series on National Radio, Jenny is also an accomplished jeweller.
